I honestly don't think you can. You may be able to get a way with mickey mousing something together, but I'd advise against it. I'm giving you this advice based on nothing more than 3 minutes of thinking. However, I was able to find a converter: http://www.shoppingcentre.net/shop/rj11-rj...ter-p-3807.html

If your home is wired with RJ45 jacks, you can plug a phone line into one end at the patch in your wiring "closet", and use the other RJ45 end to plug a phone line into for dialup or voice, but you can't mix & match with an RJ45 cable in one end and an RJ11 phone cable in the other, if that's what you mean.

sorry i dont think i explaned correctly...

my ex mate ( very long story and we arnt talking now) had this convertor that it had a rj45 connector at one end folowed by a short peiace to ethernet cable, then a little box at the end of the cable whitched hoursed a connection to a normal bt line.

sorry i gfot things muddled up.

anyway no need to worry, found one pro singnal bt-300
