Bolus123
Hi there!I am trying to integrate the drivers of my raid array into my windows slipstream. I followed the unattended guide and that worked fine I guess. Too bad I can't test the raid driver in a virtual machine. Anyway, I booted the dvd and there was a strange disk list in the windows partition manager. This is my disk config:2x 80gb PATA (devided in 2 partions 1: 10gb 2: 150gb)1x 200gb SATA disk (1 partition)Windows displays the following:Disk 1: 80gb- partion 1: 10gb- 150 gb unpartioned spaceDisk 2 : 80 gb- 80 gb unpartioned spaceDisk 3: unknown disk (have seen this one before, I think its the card reader)When I boot normally, with the F6 button and the drivers it works fine, it displays the correct disks. Did I do something wrong while integrating? Can I just install windows or will that cause problems? Thanks! Bolus123
Solved the problem, I forgot to do the makecab thing. One problem remains; windows calls the sata disk C:, and the 2 raid partitions D: and E:. I want windows to be C:, but in windows I can't change the drive letter. I also tried a regtweak, it doesn't work either. How can I get windows to be C:?Last question; I connected the 2 pata disks to 1 IDE port. Is this ok, or is it better to devide them in 2 ports? Thanks again!
