katalyst^ Posted February 10, 2007 Posted February 10, 2007 My notebook has a few devices that I never use, and as such I haven't bothered to install the drivers for any of them. Will this prevent Windows from setting the power state of the devices to D3, that is, is it necessary for a driver to be installed for ACPI to function?
