Printer Driver Integration Problem

i have an hp deskjet 540 printer and when i install the driver in vista from my xp pro install cd the printer works fine. when i try to integrate the driver with vlite it gets almost to the end and says there was a problem and i have to close vlite. i'm running vista final and wondering what the problem may be. thanks in advance. this is the error i get:

i have whatever framework comes with vista final. it is untouched. the driver is from the windows xp pro service pack 1 install cd. the driver is called ntprint located in the i386 folder. i hope that helps. your program is very nice by the way. good job. thanks

Thanks for the compliment but the thing you're trying to do is not ok, you need the Vista driver to integrate into Vista. Some drivers from XP will work but integrating part of the XP installation...no.
