un4given1
When you say "mirroring" are you talking about HD mirroring?And... I have yet to understand anyone who wants to run WS2k3 as a workstation.
delek
This is well known story with IBM IC35L040 and ICL35L060 disks. In the last year I lost some data and much time reinstalling after IBM crap failed.e.g. two months old disk died unexpectedly without any signs of damage. I didn't even start to do backups for this disk. Was to new. :-)After warranty exchange I still use these models and I'm tired of everyweek backups of 40-50GB size, so mirroring would be the best choice for me.On the other hand I need to install some CAD and architecture soft. Before I try to install on server OS I'm not sure if soft will fit. That's why I'm curious about workstation with HD mirroring. Now I'm after some tests, that lead me to conclusion: either workstation OR mirroring. :-(Last moment concept is to use server with mirroring and break the mirror set to switch to workstation when needed. I like fast user switching and logon screen, but prefer to sacrifice that for data safety.
