Scubar
I seem to be having trouble creating a replica of the vista bootscreen, i have made bootscreens in the past and they have worked perfectly but this one seems not to work :\i want it to look just like this. I have used Bootskin editor before but when i try todo this one it keeps telling me the palette is wrong, i have tried editing the palette order but with no joy. and just when i thought i had got it done i tried to test it and it just keep rebooting the computer when trying to use the different kernel. I am also wondering why my pc doesnt have the ntkrnlmp.exe and only the ntoskrnl.exe when its a core2duo. Any help would be great. Thanks

AlYum
I think palette is the same in Vista's and XP's kernel files. It's just that Vista's bootscreen really SUCKS, that's why nobody wants to do such a crap for XP.Well, i made one, unzip it to System32 and add a line in boot.ini with the switch /KERNEL=VISTAXP.EXE download from here:http://www.MegaShare.com/108916
Scubar
ty for the effort but it seems urs does exactely the same thing that mine did, everytime it tries to load the kernel it just ends up rebooting my pc. None of my other ones seem todo this so im not sure why this style does.
