Luzer
I installed windows Vista the other day and everything went well. IDE raid drivers, sound and video drivers all worked and (as i can tell) no different then windows XP. The problem arose when i went to install the drivers for my Intel CS431 web camera and got a "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" error; to make it short i've tried everything. installing, updating, restarting, manually selecting a driver, and even plugging it in to a different port. I was part of the beta for windows and i had it working and i forgot how; i know the camera is able to work with vista and my computer settings. Attaced is a pictures of the problem, hope it helps.Computer:Windows Vista Ultimate AMD X2 4200+Raideon X800 AGP1G Ram30GB HDDthanks for your time. cluberti
Have you downloaded the latest Vista drivers for your device if they exist? That error only happens if you're out of resources on the USB bus (which you don't seem to be), or the driver isn't being allowed to start or is crashing on startup. rehbar
Window vista should be auto load all intel drivers if it not load automatically so there is no driver that work for vista. Intel discontinued to update and support web and still cams.
