Unattended install from DVD

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I want to install vista unattended from a dvd. I use WAIK to make my autounattended.xml. What should that line be which you see in box :cpi:offline....?

</component>
</settings>
<cpi:offlineImage cpi:source="wim:k:/sources/install.wim#Windows Vista ULTIMATE" xmlns:cpi="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:cpi" />
</unattend>

Kind regards,

shortie

Hello shortie!

This line is for the WSIM. So WSIM knows on which catloge the answerfile is based. Depending on Vista version (ultimate, business etc.) not all components are available.

You may want to have a look here, if you just starting setting up an unattended DVD.
