Trying to replace a file

Hi,

The Notepad2 addons I've found don't work nicely.

One installs in the program files folder. And another one doesn't replace the original.

The original Notepad has version 5.1.xxx and Notepad2 has version 1.0.12.

So nLite asks during the process 'Would you like to keep the newer file?'.

No, I don't. What I would like is to change the addon so Notepad2 is copied.

The current contents of the entries file are:

[general]
builddate=23/12/2006
description=Notepad2
language=English
version=1.0.12
website=http://www.flos-freeware.ch/notepad2.html

I know you can manually hack the executable and change the version, but is there another way?

Maybe with obsolete_files or something? Could you give me some info?

Thanks.

flags=IgnoreFileVersions

That goes just below the website= line and is exactly what you are looking for.
