Windzor
Hello,I have made several CDs using several different ways to make ISOs. Every single time I try to boot from the CD, the same thing happens no matter which tutorial I use to make the slipstreamed WinXP SP2 CD. I get a prompt to boot from CD, and it doesnt matter if I hit a key or not, It just starts to do a few things like enabling USB, then it just stops at a command prompt that says something to the effect of [RS-DOS] A:\>and then nothing. What am I doing wrong with my CDs? DO I need to burn something else along with the .ISO?thanks for the help Edited January 4, 2007 by Windzor

skinnyjm
If you're using ImgBurn (which is highly recommended) make sure you have gone to (in build mode of course) Advanced tab then Bootable Disc tab. In other words, make sure you are building a bootable iso first, before you extract it to removable media. You might also want to replace your boot image file, it might be corrupt. I'm sure you have already done these, but just in case you haven't, I thought I would throw them out there.
