probs with msgina.dll hack

hey guys, i just signed up, im a long time customizer....

my problem is on my new laptop I have a fresh install of MCE, and I replace the msgina.dll with a new one I had made for my desktop (xp pro). anyways, the problem is that my custom image on the classic logon screen doesnt show up, it has been overlayed by media centers own image. Media centers image is not in msgina.dll, i went through it bit by bit.... any ideas where this bitmap is hiding?

The thing is, the MCE image is stored in winbrand.dll, not msgina.dll. Also, it's not a good idea to replace one version of windows' GINA with another's... you're asking for problems, trust me.
