haven't noticed that after nlite recompression process has completed that hidserv.dll and mouclass.sys are missing from driver.cab.

but i've also noticed that they are relocated to sp2.cab.

and don't get installed when you install your os.

Tell nlite to combine driver.cab and sp2.cab into one file and problem solved.

what version of nlite? could you post your last session.ini?

Nothing should remove it.

How about that those files are inside one of your drivers...please search your drivers folders for those file names, just put extension as *.

For example search for

"hidserv.dl*" in case it's compressed.

Also if you can try in virtual machine then try once without any addons or drivers.

Always use clean installation files...if you use any other tool besides nlite let me know.

Same problem since 1.0... I must copy these three files manually to make working the hid service. :)

/edit: just an appoint, these files are present on the sp2.cab, but they weren't copied throught the installation process.
