Downloaded at last (after some experimenting)

For all of you who still can't download nLite from nuhi's homepage here's the solution in 4 easy steps:

1. First,enable referrer logging for nliteos.com

2. Next,make sure you've enabled *BOTH* JavaScript and Referrer logging for nuhi.olmik.net and/or any of the other mirrors.This is an important step many of you forget to take.

* Setting these permissions only for nliteos.com won't work - you'll get a page reload or an error message.

3. Clear your browser cache,reload the main (index) page,go to the downloads section and click on a download link.

If everything's OK,your download should start immediately.

4. If it's still not working,it must be your firewall or IP blocker doing this.

This may happen if your firewall is one of those $%^&* ones which refuses to whitelist/unblock anything.The only solution is to disable your firewall/blocker temporarily just for the download or get a better firewall.

I think this post should be stickied or included in the nLite FAQ.

i beleive IE 7 64 bit integration is broken for XP 64 bit nuhi. and here is what i am basing it on, after i installed windows and went to internet i noticed that i could not click on tools and options to configure some security settings i like to use. i recieved an error message - this operation has been canceled due to restrictions on this computer- please contact administrator. i also looked at event viewer and seen i am getting this error every day - Event Type: Error

synth, yeah it removes all. Wave Out will work. Maybe gonna separate later but if you need few parts of it just keep it, it's not that big.

Plasma, be sure to enable hotfix page and ASMS compression in it.

deskman, well attach your preset and try once without addons. Also do all in one session, don't restart nlite and modify already modified source to avoid any problems that may happen in that scenario.

So please wait few more days and reinstall with the new version.

My new feature request are: from "unattended" tab of nlite "misc" options "Turn off Security Center" (monitor section and service)

2 features i would most like to see are ...

Pin Default Browser and Email Client to Start Bar (as is on a normal install, they are missing on an nLited install and have to be put there manually)

Enable Quick Launch by default (This would be BRILL!)
