It should be kept, when there is a protected file option (or files to keep?).Security Centre And Windows Firewall are seperate components, which can function independant of eachother (Security Centre only monitors that your computer has Anti-Virus running, ad-aware protection and that it has a firewall enabled). I would like the firewall to be removed as well, but all in good time.

nuhi
There is nothing to fix, it's just dependency. As Jeronimo said use Protect Files option on the Components page.If you need more instructions just ask.

nuhi
Hanschke, yes put system32\sti.dll line in the protect files box and next time you remove WIA that file will be kept and all ok.If you don't want to reinstall then get sti.dll from someone and copy it in your system32 folder.
