Integrate IE7 result in lsass.exe: Not Enough Quota

Yeah, HFSLIP helps! (Sorry, but nLite sucks, never built work distribution with it)

Just do these steps:

1. Get clean WinXP SP2 distro
   
2. Slipstream everything with IE7 and WMP11 with HFSLIP (read manual at HFSLIP Website)
   
3. Try. Your new installation package shoud work. My one does.
   

I know this is an older thread. But I noticed the same issue. My question is, what is HFSLIP doing differently than the /integrate switch is?

I'm trying to build my CD without having to use these special tools. I am following just the normal deploy.chm help file.

I'm getting the same error on Server 2003 (SP2). I'll probably end up installing the old fashioned way by running the installer once Windows has been set up

I had this problem with lsass.exe virtual memory error when integrating ie7 into winxp sp3 with nlite,

and following advice from this thread, I gave hfslip a try and it DEFINITLY works, the error is now gone !

Fellow nLiter, need your experience input please.

- Got Windows XP Pro OEM w/SP2 (CD volme label as VX2POEM_EN)

- Using nLite v1.2.1

- downloaded IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe off Microsoft site

- Ran nLite v1.2.1 only doing HotFix and Create ISO

- only include IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe in Hotfix and nothing else

- integrated OK

- create ISO OK

- Load up in VMware, text mode setup completed OK

a. upon GUI setup bootup, gave error : lsass.exe - System Error

b. setup reboot itself automatically

c. upon GUI setup bootup again, gave error: lsass.exe - Not Enough Quota

d. setup reboot itself automatically

- loop back to ( c ) and continue doing ( c ) and ( d ) and loop non-stop

Tried above steps with Windows XP Pro Corp (CD volume label as WXPVLKSP2) works OK.

I know someone already mentioned IE7 can probably only integrated into WinXP which doesn't really need activation.

Are there anyone able to sucessfully integrate IE7 (which download straight from Microsoft, not modded one) into OEM Windows using nLite ?

Me thinks the reason is you integrated a addon pack instead od pure IE7... Anyways, nLite have one "problem", and that is order of integration... He integrates updates and addons in alphabetical order instead of date or custom order... You probably added IE7 updates, and since you dont have IE7 on your source disk, updates "missfire" ... So... Just remove IE7 updates (make addons of them also)

Ok, Its "Cumulative Update for Internet Explorer 7"... Probably KB928090... Anyways, for all who trying to integrate Internet Explorer and updates, be shure to slipstream IE, then updates, and if you add addon od IE (7,8) you need to make addon of "Cumulative Update for Internet Explorer 7"

Just use the addon made by OnePiece and you won't see any IE integration problems.

It is a true addon, so it will replace IE files at T13 with the newest IE8 patched updates.

Isass.exe error is a common boot error (normally on installed systems)

It may be caused by corrupt system files or failing hardware.

You should run a test with an original cd if your system boots to be sure of your hardware.

Also verifie if your source CD is not corrupted.

After that when you use nLite just try a basic CD creation to sort out errors.

Common problems occur with removing essential files or integrating conflicting items.

Run a new install formating the HD prior to a new setup. If this is not possible you should

remove the disk and format it as a slave on another system (there may be remaining

files of an earlier setup attempt causing the problem)

Reporting on Errors of 2006 you should try to ensure you work on a fresh and actual copy of nLite and XPCD.

mba2431 has installed the latest nLite and the boot error he is reporting is

a remaining actual common boot error.

Even when he used an old tread for a still actual error we should try to solve it.

I encountered this error in other instances; read my previous post about.
