cumminbk Posted December 5, 2006 Share Posted December 5, 2006 (edited) Alright right now i am trying to reduce the amount of programs i use to play videos, movies and music.I use Realplayer to play real files VLC to play DVDsDivx player to allow for the playing of divx videosAC3 Fliter to help with some audio enhancmentIF i use K-lite codec pack do i need to keep divx since it appears there is a divx codec included in the k-lite. but i dont not see that k-lite can play real files. VLC also cannot play real files neither can WMP11. is there a way i can eliminate divx player and realplayer through codec packs or other players (do not wish to switch to real alternative)Thanks all Edited December 5, 2006 by cumminbk Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Use Search next time. BTW I do intend to create a sticky topic for Media Players.With that said for your specific needs I would recommend one program:Media Player Classic.
