WaveRunningNaked
Is it possible to make a self-install DVD using ImageX? Do I need to included AutoUnattend.xml? If so, how?
Sonic
imagex is just to "capture" / clone a disk/partition.The setup of vista start with winpe which redeploy the real setup directly to the hard disk using imagex. You can mount and edit original install.wim (image of original install of vista) to add your customizations, and after unmount with saving changes to install.wim. But it's hard to maintain the source ...IMHO, use just autounattend.xml and $oem$ folder and remake dvd with oscdimg.exe
Spooky
You could try the the information in the attached also...it might provide you some information. Forgot where I got this but thanks goes to them. It does look like a draft however, but the basic procedure works and i've done it my self.create_a_custom_Vista_CD.rtf

fizban2
the autounattend is build specific, you would be better off downloading the WAIk from MS and building your own
