See the other thread for info.Basically, the files have higher version numbers with the new fixes, but Windows doesn't seem to recognize that and still lists the older fixes in WindowsUpdate. Aaron Posted September 29, 2003 Author Share Posted September 29, 2003 I've tested the SRP beta, and no hotfixes are listed on Windows Update, (well except for one newer hotfix that isn't included in the SRP). The only items listed are IE/OE Cumulative Update, Jscript 5.6, Java VM, MDAC, and possibly the directx patch (I don't know for sure since directx 9.0b was installed on the test machine)Anyhow, I can say for sure this will solve the hotfix confusion we've had lately!
