edit: THANK u for removing your inline dosnet.inf !!! :D

edit: ok I hate that remove it and say u removed it! I post stuff about dosnet since u posted it now u've totally removed the dosnet.

@Xtreme......I removed the Dosnet.inf from the last post as I thought it would resize everything to be within scroll barslike I've seen some other posts. So much for that Idea. Plus right now I don't have any way to link the files as I don't have webserver space.

At anyrate I'm not having errors pop up its just not progressing past t-12 min. and its getting frustrating because of that. Here are my SVCPack.inf and Winnt.sif files

hmm it seems to be correct though i'm not sure if u can call .cmd files from svcpack.. I dunno.

well actually i think it works but u probably forgot a "exit" in there and bc of that it hangs...

also though it'd prompt u, did u extract qchain.exe from qchain.exe ? (hahahah)

edit: u can post the cmd

edit: also u can post 1 file here upto 150kb even if u don't have a webspace. make a zip/rar if its multi file -->for your information :)

hehehe......um not that you mention it.......I don't remember ever extracting qchain from qchain...........of course its been awhile too if I did

at anyrate I'm going to check that cmd and also extract if I haven't already qchain :)

edit: Checked both the cmd and the qchain.........There was no exit in the cmd. and also qchain hadn't been extracted. both are fixed now and am going to be testing to see if those fixes have fixed me

Check every single cmd file you use in svcpack and cmdlines.txt, there's likely to be a missing EXIT if you're using "cmdow" to hide the command prompt windows.

P.S. Please make a seperate thread in future as this is off-topic to Hotfixes and unnecessarily clutters up this thread. :)

Yeah I noticed that too, MS is desperate to get rid of that Nazi symbol in the Bookshelf font, so they go to desperate measures to list it as a Windows Critical(lol) Update.

That's what I think anyway :)

Well, out of respect to 6 million dead, I think that is a fair show of concern and appology for an error that probably got some one's a** fired. Perhaps just a gest, but a very political correct one at that. I applaud the decision, as would my friends family with the little tattooed numbers on the forearms.

On a lighter note ... it only shows with Office 2003 ... it doesn't bug XPCREATE!

sorry why is this a critical update?

it updates the fonts so what. that should be a recommended or something even less then recommended...

well after all its a funny and to me is an unneccessary update to include in the setup.

Looks like the KB828026 hotfix got changed recently. But what exactly are the differences this time? And why does the download page name it as "KB828026" yet the file name features a "Q828026" bit? Does anyone remember the filename of the original 828026 hotfix?
