Only thing I need to get working with my vista BUT.............well it's not working. :( Can't seem to find any drivers at all.........maybe somebody's got a workaround method?

Just extract the driver for windows XP on a folder and let vista pick up the driver from there. Works fine for me. Good Luck! :thumbup

Hey, that works. But, I did something wrong... well I thought I did. I thought I loaded Vista as a dual boot. so I formatted again and reloaded. Now having so much trouble with loading quickcam4000. Also my TV Tuner card is playing up. It was working before.

Now onemore time for the dummies. (Thats me incase you were wondering).

How do I get the drivers for XP to work?

Do I put in the disc for QC4000 and search from there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

*much respect*

Hi Team,

I worked it out.

No need to reply.

1. load new version quickcam 5000 software onto PC

2. put quickcam software disc into drive.

3. reboot.

4. when PC boots up again, new USB Device is detected. Select a folder to update drivers from. In this case it would be the CD ROM drive.

5. let Vista search for drivers update them, then reboot.

6. Once system has booted up again, take clothes off and stand infront of webcam and take as many pictures as you like *giggles*
