volfirefighter
I created an unattended install CD with nlite 1.2.1 and I am having a problem with the administrator autologon feature. Under the tab "Users" in the "Autologon" section, I selected the username "None" and left the "Logon Count" at the default option of zero. I have the OS installed and every time I restart the computer, it automatically logs on to "Administrator" despite the fact that I have another user account setup with Administrator rights. I do not want it to autolog to Administrator with every restart. First, can I change this on the OS that is already installed? Second, how do I set those parameters when I burn my next CD so this does not happen.
escort007
Within the Unattended add the user name you want to logon with under accounts & set "Logon Count" at the default option of zero + choose the name you just added from the drop down menu. To stop the autologon look at the link http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/s...tips/knox2.mspxCheers

John456
I'm familiar with that problem. nLite pops up a question asking whether you'd like to login for the first time with admin privileges. Whatever you choose, it always logs in as admin afaik, and it doesn't bother me really. I use scripts to re-logon to another account.
