PROBLEMCHYLD Posted November 5, 2006 Share Posted November 5, 2006 (edited) I used /Q:A/R:N to install multiple updates and sometimes it works by installingall updates and sometimes it don't.Sometimes it reboot after certain updates.Why does it flip-flop like this? erpdude8 Posted November 22, 2006 Share Posted November 22, 2006 some of the unofficial patches MDGx create for Win98/ME automatically reboot the computer after installation. be aware of that.Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003 and Vista updates are made by SFXCAB.EXE which use /norestart switch. Windows 95/98/ME updates are IExpress/Wextract patches where you could use the /r:n switch to prevent them from restarting your computer.You CAN use /Q switch on BOTH SFXCAB and IEXPRESS packages.
