JumboJ Posted November 5, 2006 Share Posted November 5, 2006 In the patches menu of nlite there is an option labeled "SFC (Windows File Protection)" The wording is a little unclear as to what the enable and disable options do. I'm not sure if enable means to enable windows file protection or enable nlite to disable it.I Do Not want windows file protection and would like this service to be disabled so which option should I choose? Puggsley Posted November 21, 2006 Share Posted November 21, 2006 If you want to completely disable it, remove the file sfc.dll, sfc.exe, sfc_os.dll, sfcfiles.dll.I have never found a problem by doing this, and it ensures that it can not run.
