Well if you "End Task" Explorer it disappears in the Task Manager Window, but there is still a possibility of it working.I mean Explorer.exe is a system program, which means its a critical part of the OS, isn't it?

Nope, explorer.exe is just part of the shell of the os, it can be killed and/or replaced no problem
