Neji Posted October 19, 2006 Share Posted October 19, 2006 Im starting already making an unattended Windows Xp installer, since my source has SP2, i skipped step 2 and 3... Right now im trying to make a winnt.sif from the setup manager wizard. After i make one, would it be a good idea if i just could use WinISO creating an image source and insert the file? Any program like WinISO will do (MagicISO, UltraISO, ...).It might be a good idea to first delete old winnt.sif from ISO file and then add new one. I had problems few times when i didn't delete the old file before adding new one. It might be due to a program bug (I used UltraISO). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Neji Posted October 21, 2006 Author Share Posted October 21, 2006 I tried making an answer file using setup manager and renamed it with winnt.sif but as i transfer it in the WinISO explorer, the filename is winnt.sif.txt??? cluberti Posted October 22, 2006 Share Posted October 22, 2006 If it's an x86 installation, the winnt.sif file goes into the \i386 directory on the source.
