malcolmx Posted October 17, 2006 Share Posted October 17, 2006 I've managed to exchange shell32.dl file in i386 folder, using modifyPE, during installation no problems, but after XP is installed I see that icons are being displayed incorrectly. The size of new shell32.dl is around 7,5 MB, anybody knows how to fix that problem ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Then I've compressed shell32.dll file from my windows\system32 folder to shell32.dl, then I copied it to XP disc, and everything was just fine.
