Oh man, I ponder for a version of nLite for Vista!!! Remove all the crap! Nuhi, I can't wait for it!!!!! Whatever you call it, I'm sure it will do with Vista what the actual release of nLite does with XP (and TBH, that's what matters first of all).

nVisiLite :P

Not sure... this is a difficult one to name. Either way, I'm very pleased to see you have been working on it, and that it will be a separate program. As I think that is the wisest decision. No matter what its called I'm sure it will be great. I will never fully adopt vista unless I can trim down all the fat. So thanks.

i'm 128th voter... and there's only 22 posts... :blink:

about the name... my two cents :

Windows Vista => Winsta

revert the W and you get ... MinstaOS (for "minimal vista OS")

okay, my lack of imagination and me are going elsewhere, no need to open the door for me :lol:

++

edit: just realized... maybe 64th voter instead ? seems like i got confused between "voters" and "votes"... :oops:

Vista word isn't owned by MS, it's normal English noun

Windows Vista is however owned by MS.

Yeah, windows are just wood frameworks and do you remember Lindows or Windows Commander? :lol:

(OK, I know that Windows is a trademark.)

Please choose the name which is well pronounceable at least like nLite is.

I for one don't plan on migrating to Vista. If I'll see myself forced to install it, it will be on a virtual machine under Linux.

The Vista license forbids any installation in virtual hardware or emulators. You can with Ultimate, but then you can't use any software that uses DRM.

Also, you can only upgrade your pc once, then you have to buy another copy of Vista.

Ok I'm having the naming issue...it was planned to be named Veestah (Vista + Cheetah, don't laugh ;))

but some people told me it's not that wise, what do you think, is 'nLite for Vista' better? Maybe shorter like 'nLite Vista'...hmm even makes sense.

What about "VistaLite" or "LiteVista" or instead of nlite, change to"vLite"
