b0r3d Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 When you delete your screensavers, if the XP CD is still in the drive when you reboot, it automatically copies them back over. To stop this, just take your CD out when setup is running the batch files.

gui_m Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]"SFCDisable"=dword:ffffff9ddword:0 = enableddword:1 = disable but will prompt at boot to re-enabledword:4 = enabled but no pop-up warningsdword:ffffff9d = completely disabledBTW, you might not find the registry entry in the exact same place if ur using a different OS version. Search for the term "SFCDisable" just to be sure in regedit.Hope this helps:additional info: http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/790/
