mbaker33
Hello,I have tried the two ways that I have found here to integrate hotfixes into RIS images but when the image is deployed, I still have to perform almost 50 Windows Update.I have tried using nLite, and using the /integrate:x:\risi386folder switch, but neither has worked. Am I missing something or is this really that flakey? Why wouldn't M$ make this easier? SO ANNOYING!!!!
systemsmb
I'm also about to embark on slipstreaming hot fixes to my RIS flat images. We have been using Auto patcher but I want a more automated way of doing this.Which method is the better and could somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.Systemsmb
RogueSpear
If you want to use RyanVM's Update Pack on your RIS image, my AutoImage utility will properly do that. You can even integrate it using either the RVM Integrator or nLite.

chiners_68
RyanVM is for post SP2 hotfixes so your base is ideal.I use to use a program called RISUlt to add Drivers & Ryanvm to my RIS but it dosent support the latest driver packs. Im now in the process of using Autoimage as rougespear suggested. Follow his guide & you shouldnt go too wrong.
systemsmb
Hi thanks guys,I will give it a go as soon as I get a free hour or so at work. Busy busy busy at the moment.I only want to integrate post SP2 Windows updates. Is it possible to only integrate these leaving the drivers alone? No hurry on a reply, just curious before I start looking into this a little further.Systemsmb
