Port Forwarding to connect to ShoutCast

I want to connect to my friends ShoutCast server through ShoutCast Source but like when I click connect it keep saying Not Connected...

I have Verizon DSL with Westell 327w Modem & Router (2 in 1). I know how to get to my router cPanel but I don't know how to port forward it and make it work. Help

are the ports used in the guide the same as what your current version of shoutcast is using? That's the only thing I can think of as to why it wouldn't work
