textured Posted September 16, 2006 Share Posted September 16, 2006 so basically are there any problems nliting an xp image that already has sp2 slipstreamed? the ryanvm site emphatically warns against this when using his updates and add-ons. is it the same deal with nlite? what about just tweaking things a little (like changing path names and uxtheme and the other nlite options), how about removing unneeded components? ... how about an add-on pack? Speeddymon Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 As long as you dont select to install any SP's or hotfixes, then you can use nlite on any windows CD, even ones that have all of the most recent hotfixes already slipstreamed.The only time you _should_ select that option is if you are going to slipstream an SP or hotfix.
