twalk482
Our Virtual Server deployments have been increasing rapidly, and thus I have had to build more flexibilty into the VS build. So, here is what I am working on at the moment:Creating a VFD with answer files for a Virtual Guest BuildA PE Bootable ISO that will kick off a 2003 OS installation using the answer files on the VFDWrote a VBS to create the Guest machine on the host (Complete with the variable sized VHD(s) and RAM, etc.) <-This is where I needed flexibility, which sysprep (and imaging) could not provide. And now my physical server builds and virtual server builds now go through essentially the same process. So, now I would like to tweak it a bit ... I am now working on integrating all the MS VM drivers (usually applied via the VM Addtions installations) into the PE / OS installation CD.I have successfully done this with the VM SCSI Controller driver I was wondering if anyone else had done this (or is interested in this) ... OR possibly ... took it further and went ahead and integrated the keyboard, mouse, etc. drivers into the PE/OS installation CD.Love to hear any comments (except any that mention VMWare as a optional solution )
