Cumulative Update for Internet Explorer 6 SP1

can not run IE6UPD.exe without getting :

"The version of Internet Explorer you have installed does not match the update you are trying to install"

where is this being read in the register and what ver. should it read to run?

I have installed 98sesp2.1a and 98se2me and internet explorer 6

on top of windows 98se.

I want something that'll fix screwed up fonts in IE6. I have various things on many sites displaying in Arial Black or Arial that should be some other font. Worst of all it displays 100% of Wikipedia in Arial Black.

It's an IE6 problem because Netscape 8.1.2 and 7.2 and Firefox 2.0.0.6 show the correct fonts.

Strangely enough I seem to have the same problem, happens on all wikis and I think it may apply where PHP is involved too
