Sesshoumaru Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 i justi nstalled windows vista prerc1 (my first attempt with vista), and it SURE looks nice !i only play warcraft 3 (more or less ), but before trying it, i went to look for the latest drivers, and the ones form nvidia (88,61) didnt work.i installed them, and when instalation was half done (or so) the screen changed to a black screen with the "_" on the top left of the screen turning on and off (sry, i coulnd imagine a better way of describing it).after rebooting, i had a black screen, but windows was working, i could shut it down with the power button.any ideas ? Spyvie Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 (edited) Forceware 88.31 was for Beta 2, they don't work for 5536 as you have discovered.
