I'm facing a common problem in every of my nlite based Windows XP CD. The problem will occur when I install the Windows on any Pentium 3 machines or AMD K7 (Socket 462) machines... Pentium 4 works fine. What happen?

1. Windows copying the files (the blue installation screen with an option the make the partitions)

RESTART

2. Here comes the Second Installation 39 minutes remaining screens

RESTART

3. Boot to Windows XP it says please wait problem the Windows ask me to wait... so long until half an hour... (only idiots would want to wait for that please wait until I press the reset button on my PC then everything boot up again with no problem...

For me it was the network card that did that, try unplugging the cable from it before install just to confirm it.

Or don't integrate drivers for it.

If you don't have the network card (or similiar device like USB ADSL router) then try not to remove OOBE and see if that solved your issue...again if you removed it :)

If you haven't then try to, also repeat the procedure with the Event Log service.
