Maelstorm Posted August 18, 2006 Share Posted August 18, 2006 In order to use the key that came with your computer, you will need a copy of the OEM version of Windows XP Home or Pro depending on what was preinstalled on your machine. As for the so called "Corporate" edition (which is officially known as the Volume License Edition), that requires use of a Volume License Key which is obtained through a authorized Microsoft reseller.
