Triel
I have read the $OEM$ Distribution Folders section of the Unattended Install and wanted to know if there were more folders then listed. For instance, will $Desktop place a file or folder on the desktop if it is in that folder? If so what other folders names will work for other aspects of the $OEM$?I just wanted to know if there are more since I have not been able to find it in my search of MSFN and GOOGLE. Gee
You cannot use $Desktop as you don't know the user name yet.The only user you know for sure is All UsersThus$Docs\All Users\DesktopAny files placed there will appear for all users created in the future.$Progs = Program FilesYou already know the folder for Windows and Root, so what else do you need? T D
The stuff on the unattended guide for $OEM$ are all u can do with it.e.g. if it says only $Docs $$ and $1, they are the only ones u can use. Edited August 15, 2006 by T D

Takeshi
You can also have:$OEM$\textmode$OEM$\D (or other drive letters)
T D
True... but M$'s documents say that's all u can do (yep, they have their own unattended guide but for businesses only. I'm not a business but I read it). So I put it down. Edited August 18, 2006 by T D
