USB Keyboard

Recommended Posts

Before jumping to conclusions, please check your motherboard, if it supports USB keyboard and/or mouse you are set. But remember you need to also have your BIOS upgraded as well, some boards have updates to address USB, CPU, etc, problems or better support.

IF you have not done any BIOS upgrades, acording to your documentations (Manual) your board supports USB Mouse but not Keybaord,

This affects you by thw following:

You may and may not access the BIOS due to no support, however during windows operations it will function fine.

In BIOS options there should be something similar to USB Legacy Devices option which should be Enabled.

This allows USB peripherals to be detected as standard PS/2 keyboard and mice.
