fortwunty
Can't you just force that screen to not pop up by using WINNT.SIF and unattended options? The OEMSkipWelcome = 1... isn't that for the OOBE?Here is what I do:\i386\winnt.sif (this is just to give you an example of what I do)[unattended]UnattendMode = DefaultHideUnattendSwitch = "Yes"OemPreinstall = "Yes"OemSkipEula = "Yes"FileSystem = *WaitForReboot = "No"NoWaitAfterTextMode = 1NoWaitAfterGUIMode = 1DriverSigningPolicy = IgnoreNonDriverSigningPolicy = IgnoreHibernation = "No"[GuiUnattended]EncryptedAdminPassword = "No"AdminPassword = *TimeZone = 04OEMSkipRegional = 1OEMSkipWelcome = 1\$OEM$\cmdlines.txt (hidcon.exe is a better replacement for cmdow.exe)[COMMANDS]"hidcon.exe users.cmd"\$OEM$\users.cmd (below)@ECHO OFFNET USER user1 /ADDNET LOCALGROUP Administrators user1 /ADDNET USER user2 /ADDNET LOCALGROUP Administrators user2 /ADDNET USER user3 /ADDNET LOCALGROUP "Power Users" user3 /ADDEXIT Edited July 23, 2006 by fortwunty
Camarade_Tux
I'm not 100% sure about what you want to get rid of but my first logon is always on the automatically created "Administrator" account.I think that when you use "Classic Install" a.k.a. Win2K appearance (in Options), you don't get that.Again, I can't give you a precise answer because I used XP flashy install only twice. If you try, then you should use a virtual machine then.
