Camarade_Tux
Floppies doesn't like cellphones. Afaik there's no problem with thumb drives.Btw I am wondering what is the effect of WiFi over old tapes recorded from TV (the things we used before DVDs : my brother thought it would be good to put our wifi router near our tapes ["near" means as near as the two | just there : | | ] Edited July 22, 2006 by Camarade_Tux
Biohead
Phones won't (or shouldn't!) bother thumb drives. They would affect older media as the electromagnetic waves would distort the magnetic data patterns.I don't think wifi would bother "analogue media" as the part of the spectrum they use doesn't interfere magnetically. LLXX
Solid-state memory not affected by radio-frequency radiation. In fact, cellphones contain Flash RAM of the same type used in thumb drives (of smaller capacity, probably several Mb) Edited July 22, 2006 by LLXX
