Zxian Posted July 13, 2006 Share Posted July 13, 2006 The easiest way to make things work is to get a router and use that instead of the cross-over cable.Have you made sure that regular network connectivity works between the two computers (i.e. can you ping from one to the other)? Eyesonly_dk Posted July 13, 2006 Author Share Posted July 13, 2006 Its a laptop and a desktopThe laptop can't enter the desktops shared foldersbut it works the other way aroundWe are able to ping each other but it is the IPX we have the issues withnot the tcp/ip networkjust a week or so ago it worked just fine and since then we havent changed a thing on either computerthe laptop is alos able to recive packeges from the desktop over the IPX but not the other way around Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
