portico504 Posted July 10, 2006 Share Posted July 10, 2006 Hello, I have been using this laptop for 2 years with Win98. 32MB of Ram. My Toshiba CD-Rom XM-1802B will not reconize any cd's I install. I changed the cd drive out, and slide in the 3.5" Floopy drive. The same result happened. Also, my lucent technologies PCI network adapter card, works for 2 minutes and then dies.....I hope someone can help me with this problem. portico504 Posted July 24, 2006 Author Share Posted July 24, 2006 The laptop has never been dropped. I looked inside the slot area and all looks good in there.
