Petr
Hello,I have noticed that Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 installer contacts the Internet during the installation, and if no Internet connection is available, it takes very long time before these queries will time out.More details:The IE installer is checking the digital signature of all components installed. On Windows Me it tries to load Certificate Revocation List from http://crl.microsoft.com/pki/crl/products/CodeSignPCA.crl . Surprisingly it does not try to load the CRL on Windows 98.And now the question - how to avoid this behavior?Petr
