After installing, simply highlight "Taskbar and Start Menu", then in the right pane, uncheck "Enable balloon tips".Optional: You can also download XP AntiSpy which has the option to allow you to enable/disable them.Registry method:To turn off balloon tips in applications that support XP Themes:Start > Run > regeditGo to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Create a DWORD value of EnableBalloonTipsGive it a value of 0 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
