Drewdatrip Posted August 8, 2003 Posted August 8, 2003 depends on the purpose. Desktop=XPserver/workstation=2k3|Drew|
cspm2003 Posted September 7, 2003 Posted September 7, 2003 If all your hardware is compatible with server2k3 I would use it. I think its alot faster and more stable than WinXP. The only problem that I ever had with it, is that my video card isn't fully supported, and doesn't support direct 3d and all that, so I went back to windows 2000

crowman Posted September 7, 2003 Posted September 7, 2003 depending on what you are going to use it for I would personally go for XP

cazzman Posted September 8, 2003 Posted September 8, 2003 For games, xp.server is built for servers.Windows xp is more user-friendly, and the cost (assuming your buying it ) is a big difference.Cazzman.
XTRALONG Posted September 8, 2003 Posted September 8, 2003 win2k3! i can do the same or better than XP! GAMES / Appz / ALL WIN2k3 0wnz y00
cspm2003 Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 XP is just to slow. I'd rather have an more basic GUI but better performance
