nibraz Posted June 21, 2006 Share Posted June 21, 2006 (edited) Hi,Today I on my pc and when it comes to the welcome screen it says ''windows must activate within 7 days'' so I clicked activate then it says windows is already activated, and I can use my pc again. Whenever I restart or start my pc the activation message pops front of the welcome screen :? Any idea how to fix this? Posted June 21, 2006 Share Posted June 21, 2006 (edited) if the cd came with the pc, you have an OEM version of windows.try thisit will most likely resolve your problemthe link will let you change the product key. put your product key that came with the cd.by following the procedure listed there, you will reset whatever interferes with the activationalthough it says it's for volume licensed version, it should work for you.
