Silent installs: localized + tweaked?

Hi,

I have been watching this forum with great interest for some months now,

but I found out that sometimes silent installs are made too simple for some configurations.

The silent switches in the sticky posts are mostly only basic switches.

I have german language and installation on D:

so the following issues occur:

1) different languages - localizations

2) environment variables for softcoding installation paths

3) reg or ini files for disabling autoupdate etc.

4) auditabile install packages (IEXPRESS etc.)

This is no special request or contribution, I only want to exchange experience with other people which have similar problems+needs.

Any interest?

with .msi installers you can specify the location you wish to install to using the installpath= variable.
