johnnyb
I didn't install the RunAs service and now I need it. I removed it with nLite. Is there anyway to reinstall a service? Please refrain from telling me how dumb I was, .
johnnyb
From the lack of responses I take it that it is impossible?
johnnyb
This is what I have tried so far...I have copied the seclogon.dll from another machine into the System32 directory. Then I used the sc.exe tool from the Windows 2000 Resource Kit to try and create the service.I named the service seclogon and pointed the binPath to the services.exe, but it failed when I tried to start it. Anyone have any ideas?
allen2
Basicaly you only need a 2000 with the service then export 2 registry entries:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\seclogonand all its subkeys and: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_SECLOGONand all its subkeys.adding seclogon.dll to system32 should be all you need.
