WolfX2
making things glossy is as easy as thishttp://www.tutorialstream.com/tutorials/ph...ossy_button.phpas for your reflection question, I'm not too sure but i think you would just flip the image, cut it in half and dull the occupancy to like 20 or 30%.If someone knows a better way for ither of them, please post it Edited June 2, 2006 by WolfX2
almulder
Thanks for the link on the glossy. and for making the reflections I know it has something to do with "feather" but not sure what.

WolfX2
@almulder - i figured the reflection thing out! just duplicate the layer, flip it 180 go to the rectangular selection tool, set feather to 9 px, now just select the image on the duplicated layer and hit delete. perfect reflections every time!theirs only exemption for when your trying to reflect text...you actually have to retype it backwards before you flip it. WolfX2
for text... say your text you wanted to mirror was "WolfX2"you would have to make a new layer...and on that layer type "2XfloW" then simplify (rasterize), flip the layer 180 deg. go to the rectangular selection tool, set feather to 9 px (or more, with feathering, less is more), now just select the image on the upside down layer and hit delete.
