Calitoz
Salutations to AllI am having problem changing Password Policy in WIn2k3 Ent. Edition when adding group and users. It won't let me change the policy from strong password to simple one even though I logged in as Admin. What am I missing here?...BTW I am consider reformat my drive in NTSF since it s more secure and Safer but I have several 95, 98, win 2k and XP machines connected to this server. Is it possible for the 95 and 98 machine to read and write onto this server drive if it is formatted in NTSF?Thanks in AdvanceCal

Porn Loader
check your admin rights. if you are logged on as computer admin, your not going to be able to change pw policy in the gpo, you must have domain admin rights or higher
Tinker
Win 98 can read NTFS as long as it is not on the same system. In other words if you had 2 hard drives in your computer and one was FAT for Win 98 and the other was NTFS for XP. 98 would not see the drive with XP on it because it is NTFS on the same system. XP however would see and use both... But when you have 98 look out on the LAN to say a server with Win 2k3 and NTFS it will see and use it just fine....Clear as mud?
